1. The Board will monitor progress on district goals, effective instruction and student achievement with data-based information.

2. The Board will clearly understand its governance roles and responsibilities, adhere to the Open Meetings Law and delegate district operational responsibilities to the superintendent.

3. The Board will conduct a self-evaluation to monitor its own performance and participate in professional development, including board training and seminars.

4. The Board will establish effective communication with parents, students, staff and community members while respecting the chain of command and lines of responsibility.

Our board typically meets twice each month on the first and third Tuesday each month at 5:30 p.m. in the board room at the district office. The meetings are open, and the community is invited to attend. If it’s more convenient, the meetings are also streamed online, and you can visit the agenda for each meeting to find a link to the video stream.
